I am also trying to find information on my grandfather's family who was from San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
His name was Narciso Jasso, born to Juan Jasso and Margarita or Julia Rangel. Juan Jasso was a piano player. According to my grandfather. His family came to the country of Mexico during the Maximillion Revolution? Narciso Jasso was born in 1887 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico
He came to the U.S. in the early 1900 through Del Rio, Texas with his wife Inez Avalos and a brother Cruz Jasso, which later parted under anger and they never saw each other again. My grandfather also had other brothers and sisters: Andrea Jasso, Jovita Jasso and Ramon Jasso. My grandfather worked for the Santa Fe and Southern Pacific Railroad, they travel all over the Southern states. My father was born in Iola, Kansas.
It has been very hard to find information on our Jasso family, since my grandfather past way when we were very young. My grandfather was fair skin with blue/green eyes, about 5' 7" tall.
If anyone has any kind of information that could assist us in finding information on our Jasso family, feel free to share it with us.
My grandfather settled in Deming, New Mexico, he had 12 children, some live in NM, Florida, South Carolina and California.
