Has anyone researching jarvie's in Kilsyth came across any of the following;
I am looking for ancestors and descendants of John Jarvie + Elizabeth Bell/Tankard. They married on 20-April-1887,
John was from Kilsyth, Renfrewshire, Scotland.
John was the son of Joseph Jarvie and Sarah Scott.
John & Elizabeth had 4 or 5 children;
Sarah Jarvie Bell b. 03-May-1874
James Jarvie
3 other sons
Later in life James jarvie may have gone by the name Jimmy Wilson in Detroit, Michigan. (James is known to also go by James Bell.)
Elizabeth was 1st married to William Tankard. Her maiden name was Bell. They had 3 children; William Bell Tankard, Catherine Duncan Tankard/Bell and Sarah Jane Scott Tankard. William Sr. died 24-January-1872.
Any help and/or insights is much appreciated.
