Hi Sonia,

My wife is also descended from GBJ via his son James Henry and I also believe his dad was WBJ but can't prove it. Have you seen 'The Jarrett's of Upnor' by Ken Halton?

I have a lot of info about GBJ, his wife and all his children living in Upnor but nothing on his siblings. I also don't think I have anything to say he lived in Queenborough - what reference do you have on that?

I have recently been emailing a lady (Lesanne) that is descended from Edward, one of the survivors of the tragic 1864 disaster involving William Day Jarrett's barge off Leysdown.

Would love to hear from you.

Steve Gilbert
