Your #1 Devereux Jarratt who married Martha Roberson is not a child of Archelaus Jarratt and Elizabeth Mims, but a grandchild.

Their son Devereux Jarratt married three times. One of his wives was Molly Duiguid, who was the mother of the Devereux Jarratt married to Martha Roberson.

My grand-uncle, Austin Wheeler Smith, said this of him: His will was probated 1848-52. He was born in Goochland County, VA, but moved to Wilson County, Tennessee, where he and his wife are buried and where he owned several thousand acres of land. His will is probated at Lebanon, Tennessee. He was the son of Devereux Jarratt of Goochland County, VA, and his second wife, Molly Duiguid. He may have lived for a short time in North Carolina.
