Its already been done. Samples 1544, 10269, and 18228 have Madison Co., Ky ties thus showing two unrelated families passed thru there. These results are available at the Jarman/German DNA Project http://www.inct.net/~german/dna.htm

We still need samples from American families found in Greene Co., TN, Fairfax Co., VA, and Faquier Co., VA. A second sample from the family that was around Anderson Co., TN, is also needed as well as samples from a Caroline Co., MD family and from documented descendants of the Robert Jarman who died c1722 in Baltimore Co., MD, and from the family with ties to Smith Co., TX and Sumter Co., Alabama.

And more samples from all British families are needed! Or from post colonial arrivals now in the US and anywhere else they are found - Australia, Canada, New Zeland...
