According to the widow's application for bounty land, affidavit made in Terrell Co., GA, on 16 March 1858, Clen Jarman married Frances Pollock (b. c1810) in Jones Co., NC, on 17 October 1827. Clen Jarman, a veteran of the Creek War, died 1 April 1849. His name was Clen, not Clem or Clement; (I suspect actually it was McClendal Jarman - but NOT the son of Hall Jarman) and confusion over the spelling of his name caused the widow problems in gettng her claim processed.
