Jarman Family Genealogy Forum

I am interested in Jarman in Rhayader. I cannot recognise a matching name immediately, but haven't all my papers to hand. The nearest on a tree supplied to me by a co-researcher is Mary Ann Jarman born 1851, but the trouble is there were more Jarman families than I am currently looking at. I may be able to put you in touch with someone who can. It would help if you know more. Incidentally a letter to the library in Rhayader might get results as the people of Rhayader are fascinated by ancestry and kinship. I got the contact who gave me the tree I am looking at now, by leaving my tree at the library. There are also several researchers in Rhayader who charge for their work if you want to go down that route. Its nice to be connected to Rhayader: magical, very atmospheric. My grandmother was born there in her mother's parents' house - Jarmans. When I went there three years ago, I asked in the bookshop for descendants of a relative and five minutes later was talking to my mother's second cousin!
