I show Margaret Elizabeth Jarman (b. abt.1670) m. Edward Morgan. Edward died in 1718 and she evidently remarried a Rees David in 1719, Gwynedd, PA. She died in 1736 in Gwynedd, PA. And I have found references to her father, John Jarman, b.1664, Llangerig, Montgomeryshire, Wales, d. 14 Dec 1697, Radnor, PA. There are many John Jarmans however who bracket the dates and I haven't been able to prove him as her father.

My mystery comes from their children. I have records from about 9 compilers who list various children, including Sarah Morgan, who married Squire Boone. Sarah & Squire's children included Daniel and his brother, my relative, Edward.

However, another part of my line lists LEAH MORGAN, b. abt. 1732 as a child of Edward and Margaret Elizabeth. But Margaret Elizabeth would have been 62 years old (highly doubtful!) and if Edward died in 1718, then Leah can't be his child.

Also, I find it hard to believe that Edward and Margaret Elizabeth had 11 children (e-mail me if you want the lists) between the years of 1691 & 1710 and then 22 years later had Leah (!). Leah married Peter Scholl b.1754. Have you ever found any mention of Leah? I'm wondering if she could be the child of Edward Jr.?

Also, my grandfather's name was Joseph Russell ELLEDGE and I have traced (with the help of Cynthia Elledge Snider's great books) my line back to 1680, so far. Try the Elledge website or Cynthia directly (Cynthia@snider.org). Good luck.
