There were two Amy Jarmans in Jackson Co., FL.
Amy Jarman of NC born Nov. 18, 1815. She married Solomon Green, and they were in Decatur Co. GA by 1848. In the mid 1850's she married John W. Mitchell, and they moved to Jackson Co. FL. where she died in 1882.

The other Amy Jarman was the daughter of Ferney Jarman of NC. He also came to Decatur Co. GA in the 1840's and moved to Jackson Co. FL by 1860. Amy is of his 2nd wife, Harriett McDaniel whom he married in 1858 in Jackson Co. FL.
Amy's nickname was "Scott," and she married Stuart Barrentine.

There is a "theory," unconfirmed that Ferney Jarman and Amy Jarman Green-Mitchell were related, perhaps siblings or cousins.

As to if they are related to Obediah F. Jarman of NC who went to Sumter Co. AL and Lauderdale Co. MS, I have a "theory" about that, but it is rather complicated. First, we have to prove where they were all from in NC, and, thus far, the "proof" escapes us.
