Hi
Did any of your Bells emigrate to Canada. I have a James Bell who married Mary Bone, born 1824 in Ecclefechan, Dumfries and emigrated to Ontario, Canada. I am not sure whether the marriage was in Scotland or in Canada. It was about 1855, possibly Guelph, Wellington County. They had one daughter Jessy Bell born Feb 4, 1856 and then James died within the year (or so we think). Mary remarried to Gideon Hood about 1859 although we had not found either marriage.
Thanks for any help
Peggy G.
