Maryann:Voorhees is a common family name in that area. So is Welsh. Welsh Farm was a large dairy farm that sold milk under the Welsh Farms name throughout Central Jersey for years. It was located in the Tewksbury area of Hunterdon County and Washington Borough in Morris County. You will have fun tracking people in that area, since Hunterdon County, Morris County and Somerset County all join right there.Careful, there are two Washingtons. The one I speak of is the old Dutch Valley/German Valley/Long Valley on Rt. 24 about five miles west of Rt. 206, not the one north on Rt.31.
I had mistakenly thought a Jaques Voorhees was one of my family members, but later found the name was used as a first name. My G-G-G Father was David Welsh Jaquish. My family had obviously either worked on the farm or respected the Welsh Family by naming their son ofter them.
The cemetery you speak of is in I believe a small area known as Mountainville, in Tewksbury. I've been there before, but some time ago. Not sure if our families are related, but they all lived in the same neighborhood.I do know there are far more Voorhees further south of that area in Whitehouse Station, Hunterdon County. That is about ten miles straight south of the Washington Borough I spoke of.
Hope some of that helps and points you to new finds. Good luck.
