I have already emailed Jeannie Japp, but for others to know, I looks like we have made an connection with our families. On her list, William Lansa Japp was recognized by my Aunt as her grandfather, making him my great-grandfather. So since William Lansa Japp and George Herman Japp were brothers, Jeannie's husband and I are third cousins.
Our line of the family is this:
William Lansa Japp (b.1875-d.1957) married ??
Fritz William Japp (b.?-d.1984) married Helen Schmidt.
Merle Frederick Japp (b.1938-) married Rita Ann Andrepont.
Michael Andre Japp (b.1965-) married Cherie Rivera.
This is not complete and I am asking my father and aunts/uncles for more info. I will post again when I find out more.
