In Reply to: Kamon Info and search for Nakayama and Ohashi by Kim Nakayama of 1931

I realize this message of mine is ten years late, but on the off-chance you see this, Kim Nakayama, I would like to say that my mother's mother's family is Ohashi, and are from the Hiroshima area.

Ideally, kamon are passed down from father to son or mother to daughter, meaning you would normally inherit your mother's, and thus the Ohashi, kamon. Although such rules are not absolutely strict.
