Can anyone give me any tips on how to access Japanese records from the WW2 occupation period. I am trying to find information on the boy child born to my "digger" grandfather Fezzard (aka Frank) West & a Japanese lady by the name of Shigeno Yomada but have no idea of where or how I should start. This union caused such a scandal in Western Australia - so much so that my grandparents divorced & the case made the front page of the newspaper!
I would appreciate any advice.
