Looks to be an old post but I find it interesting.

I am related to the Iha and Yokoda family.
The Kanji character for Iha I believe reads "minami" or "south". I could be wrong. It's something that stuck in my mind for when I was smaller.

The Iha family did rule central Okinawa many centuries ago.
There is the Iha castle ruins still located in Ishikawa (now Uruma city).

The main Iha house is still located near the main Yokoda house.
