We usually can get our resistered address, when it was submitted, birth date & place, father's name, mother's name, relationship to parents, children's name & birth date & palce. When we grow up and get married, we form a new registration and add new family member. So old resistration eventually have only parents and when both die, it is called "Jyoseki" and the citty office keep that for 80 years. When it's "Koseki", you don't have to return it. They make a copy and you pay for it and it's yours. I assume Joseki is the same but I've never got Joseki so I'm not sure. Notify Administrator about this message?
