My mothers is still alive, but old and frail. I have tried to find my biological father's family for several years now. The only information I have that he was a Colonel in the Japanese army, but he was their engineer to survey the oil fields in Indonesia. I was told that he was hit by a car in Tokyo two years after he came out of jail, where he spent 10 years. So that was approximately 1955. His name was Toyoyasu Yamauchi (I am not sure of the correct Spelling), he was born 13 October, probably in 1912 in Tokyo. I was names after his sister Yoshiko, but my adopted father changed it to Ellen and I changed it to Eleanor. My story is a little longer that this, but I hope there is someone out there who can help me!
