I have only recently started to get interested in my genealogy. I know almost nothing about the January side of the family. I am trying to find anyone that may be able to help point me in the right direction.

I have been told that he may have been Cherokee but I do not have anything to confirm this. His name was Lucio January Flores. He was born on December 13, 1909 and died on March 18, 1965 in Houston, Texas. He served as a Chef in the Army and was married to Maria Faustina Cadena Benitez. He is survived by his six children by the marriage.

Any information would be extremely helpful and appreciated.

Raul January Martinez
