JANTZ: Alsace, France, to YONTS in USA

I'm researching the JANTZ family line, whose members came to America (PA?) in the 1600s, at which time their name was Americanized to YONTS. This group then spread out, settling primarily in North Carolina and Kentucky, where most of the YONTS families -- my relatives -- still live.

It's my understanding that the JANTZ line we descend from originally came from the Alsace region, which lies on the borders of France, Germany, and Switzerland.

I would like to correspond with anyone, either in the US, or in Europe, who is either related to the Alsatian JANTZ family line, or who may information on them. We'd like to complete our family tree and connect with relatives. Naturally, I'm willing to share genealogical information on the American Yonts family.
