"Fryksnde" certainly became corrupted. It started out as Fryksände when I posted it. I wonder what happened.
I could not read the birth location in one HFL. It was probably Loco, which as I explained in the next HFL, is Latin for here. Since "here" was Fryksände, the family members were all born in Fryksände.
I made some typos/brain hiccups. The birth years were listed as 11 and 01, which translates to:
Erik Jansson, born 1811 in loco (Latin for "here")
Kerstin Jonsdotter, born 1801 in loco
It is not at all unusual for a wife to be much older than a husband in these old Swedish records. I don't think marriages were based solely on romantic love back then. There were sound economic reasons and social reasons to marry and the pool of possible people to marry was much smaller in these little rural parishes.
Now that I know that one HFL had loco for birth locations, it became a lot easier to read loco in this HFL. (As a Swede told me when I started doing genealogy in Swedish records, it is much easier to read the scribbles when we have an idea of what the scribbles might say.) I do my research with maps handy and there are also place name indexes (ortregisters) in the HFL which tell us names of villages and farms in that parish.
Handwriting in these records is not too bad in the later years (mid-1800s and later), although some individuals had horrific writing and some had beautiful writing. Most were mediocre.
Handwriting in earlier records (especially in the late 1700s and earlier) was in a totally different style and can be almost impossible to read for a beginner. The guidebook "Cradled in Sweden" had a chapter about the handwriting. This is a website with the same type of information on handwriting in the earlier years.

Genline subscribers who have trouble reading a location or name, etc. can put the GID number (the Genline Identification Number; a unique page number on Genline) and ask for help in reading it. Other Genline members on the Swedish boards and lists are very generous about helping out. I doubt enough Genline members exist on the Jansson board, so you need to use a Swedish board.
The best thing about Genline is that the pages have been digitally improved over microfilm and also, we can make the pages larger or smaller and can make the images darker or lighter. Some images are so bad that I need to put the image into photo editing software. However, there are some pages I could never read on microfilm and I can read them on Genline.
Every time you refer to Klampenborg, I need to figure out the parish it is in. The records were kept in the parish and not in the farm or village, so that is confusing to me and will be confusing to others. (Yes, the smaller location is very useful but not by itself. It needs to be mentioned along with the parish name and the name of the län = county.)
The parishes send their old records to a regional archive, so visiting there is not the best way to learn about the ancestors we have. We can do better visiting a regional archive but much of that research can be done without going to Sweden.
I can't say that I understand 100% of every Swedish parish record I've found but I understand most of each of these records and I certainly understand a lot more than I did when I started almost 7 years ago. I learn much more when I ask for help using these GID numbers. There are some wonderful Swedes who are very kind about helping us.
