My grandfather fredrik Janssen came over from germany during ww2 or sometime around it as far as i know. we dont know anything about him as he wasn't willing to talk. after his death we found a photo of him with a woman and a boy that we think may have be taken near longreach. many years after that he met my grandmother in townsville as far as i know and they had my mother, some where a long the line he disapeared for a few years and we think he was in the tablelands but he returned. i am really interested to know anything about family. i think he said he came from Brauslo i dont know how to spell it apparently family had a hotel there and the whole towm got bombed to bits during the war. If anyone thinks they can help i would appreciate it
