Searching for information regarding George Jansen, bn Jan 5, l860 in Germany, located along the Northern border of Holland. George Jansen married Falena Alberts, bn Oct 7, l859.

One child Richard Jansen, bn in Germany, the other children were after their arrival in U.S..

They lived on a farm near Flannigan, Illinois.

When they went through immigration the name Jansen was "Americanized" to Johnson.

The other children of George and Falena Jansen/Johnson were:
John, Dena, Effie, Ben, George, Frederick, Lena and Hattie and possibly Hilda.

I have information, photos to exchange and/or share.

Thanks, MAC
