I am searching for info on Geesje JANS. She, too, had a spouse that died in the East Indies.
His name was Pieter Carstensen.
Geesje remarried, and came to New Amsterdam.
She had children by both marriages.
First marriage children took the name OSTRANDER
Second marriage children took name PIER
You will find more info on OSTRANDER forum.
Geesje had a son born about 1655--so I put her birth date before 1638. Do you know of any siblings of your Adriaentji Jans ?
