I am looking for any information on the JANKIEWICZ family that resided in the Glassport/Clairton/Duquesne/McKeesport area near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They changed their name to JENKINS at some point, but I don't know when. Here is what I have so far:
John Jankiewicz - b. abt 1859-1861 Poland, d. after 1930, arrived in the U.S. around 1882, resided in Ohio for a couple of years before moving to southwestern PA.
Married to Mary or Marie (Krukowski?) - b. abt 1858 Poland, possibly has a younger brother named Charles Krukowski
Children of John and Marie:
Valeria Mollie Jankiewicz - b. 1884 Ohio, married John J. PRICE, resided in Glassport, PA.
John Jankiewicz - b. 1888 Pennsylvania
Francis Jankiewicz - b. 1890 Pennsylvania
Annie Jankiewicz - b. 1892 Pennsylvania
Rose B. Jankiewicz - b. 1894 Pennsylvania, married James Charles LUCOT, resided in Glassport, PA
Edward Jankiewicz - b. 1899 Pennsylvania
Martha Marie Jankiewicz - b. 1897 or 1900 Pennsylvania, d. 1949 Pennsylvania, married to Harry Nolan MCCLELLAN and John CROCCI, resided in Bunola, PA.
Cecelia Jankiewicz - b. ?, married to Lawrence DOTTERWAY, of the Latrobe area Dotterways.
Martin Jankiewicz - b. ?
