My great-grandfather Joseph JANKE (b. 1848 in Miroslaw? Germany) was said to have immigrated to the US when he was about 16 (c. 1864). He married Artana Beleskia (sp?) in 1874 and had 6 children (all born in IN) - William (b. 1885 and moved to Colorado), Frank (b 1875 - lived in Kanas), Anna (b. 1880 IN), Eva (b1889 IN), Grover Cleveland (b1891 IN - my grandfather) and George (b 1865 - IN).

His obit mentioned a brother John (in Wisc) and a brother Gotleib (in IN), but I've never been able to track them or any other siblings or parents.

I'd love to share information with anyone that knows of this family!
