I am trying to research Robert Jamison who died in Nov 1832 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. He is the father of my Jane Jamison who married John McKelvey who had children born in Mecklenburg and in 1860 my relative J. Alice McKelvey was in the household with John and Jane McKelvey and also listed was another child just born. I am wondering if the four daughter's had children but I do know that there was only one son name John b. 1844. I need more information on these two families from Mecklenburg and Gaston County, North Carolina.
