1. I quoted Emmett and I believe what he told me. I did not make it up or slant his words. Emmett is open to work with all sides. That is what makes him such a great guy.
2. Bystanders? Let’s see Emmett Hoctor, Visionics, and H. C. Shelton were not first mentioned by me. I’m not sure whom you are referring to.
3. How about putting the photo you used of Jesse (with JLC) beside the death photo for comparison? Humm.
4. The picture in Betty’s book that you say is cropped off was done by the publisher. The inset has an interesting story. Apparently the original had men standing behind Archie. Obviously the picture has been touched up. Betty would love to see the original. You may try George Warfel. I think he has the full picture. Maybe he will loan it to you for posting. Betty could not get the whole picture from him upon her request. Now wouldn’t it be a kick to have a “Courtney” in the James collection?

I welcome you back but please do not hit and run. You or no one else so far has addressed my questions. If Betty is so wrong there should be some sure answers. I really doubt that anyone can or will adequately answer them. Two points for the home team. Yes!
6. You have received important information on Jesse? Is it opinion or real? Can it be refuted by another source of equal value? (Is it about the newly found “Peace Ranch” in Sterling Co., TX?) Yeah, I am a skeptic. And from past experience I have good reasons to be.
