If learning the truth about Jesse James, James L. Courtney or anyone else, then you would just be doing the research on the person you are trying to find a link for your family. Most of what I have read on the Gen Form is trying to prove Betty incorrect and the experts that reviewed and did the research on the photos are also incorrect. The organiztions and people that reviewed the photos have no interest as to whether the pictures Betty has are Jesse James, his Mother and other members of the family are indeed Jesse James and members of his family.
The truth is not threatening to Betty or her documenation nor the experts.
Please explain what "embellished facts" that you are referring. What facts?
