Betty, First: I am sorry about the remark I made about not buying your book, I admit to having a temper and flying off the handle, so please accept my apology here and now. Second: About your grandfather (and don't fret about adding all the greats, we know who you mean), I have people in my family who grew after they were 19, my daughter for one was 5'8 at 17 and now is 5'10" at 19. I hope she is done! Third: I have your grandfathers enlistment papers, about to be added to the website. Have you seen them? They show his father giving consent to enlist as he was 17. It also shows the company he was with in the Union Army. When your grandfather applied for a pension it was for the same outfit as the enlistment. Fourth: Jesse James had sandy brown hair, not black, he dyed his hair. Fifth: I cannot understand Stephen and Diannah and the siblings allowing Jesse James to come in and take over the identity of JLC. I also think your grandfather looks too much like the Haun boys to not be their brother. They look like four peas in a pod. I hope to have the website up in a few hours. I am working with a new program to do the sizing etc., so it is taking longer than I expected. Am also waiting for the photo scans, so it will be partial, not complete, more added tomorrow or late tonight. You stated that you are never stopping research... I am glad to hear that, the more people we have digging the more we uncover. By the way, was all that gold JLC had buried dug up before the farm was sold? If not, can you imagine the new owner plowing or whatever and finding a stash? Oh my! Linda I have about 700 people in your Courtney-haun-Andruss families in a GEDcom file. Do you have a genealogy program and which one?
