A couple weeks ago, the "Old Greenville Cemetery" in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, was vandalized. I work with various historical research and am trying to identify each person known buried in the cemetery. One marker in the cemetery is:
Elizabeth James
Aug 6 1796 - Jan 12 1873
Based on the ages, I found an Elizabeth James living in Auburn, Logan County, Kentucky, that fits this birth year. She told that she was born in Virginia. Below is what I found.

I did find the following obituary which may indicate that the "Elizabeth James" I am looking for was Elizabeth Ashburn that married Isaac L. James. This is a big maybe.
