Hello Fran,
Lover Lane is a very narrow street; like an alley that tourist don't use. I haven't been on it for many of years.
I never was at Lee Howks place when he had a shop there. But my dad had been there. Lee wanted my dad to work the shop with him. but he never did to my knowledge.
This letter is dated August 30th 1958 in Lee's hand writing.
I don't think it was posted on the Outlaws Genforum.

I DON'T THINK I WILL POST ANYMORE OF LEE HOWKS LETTERS ON ANY OF THESE FORUMS. I HAD POSTED MORE THAN I SHOULD. THE GRAVY DISH STILL HAS SOME MEAT IN IT.
