Hello once more to Glynda & Fran,
I should also tell you that my sister, Veena Ann James Garrett had made a large portrait of Old Jesse ( J. Frank Dalton) while he was here in Rye and Pueblo, CO.
Her husband, Harry E. Garrett burned it up a year or two latter.
There were several old gentlemen that came visiting during that time too!
I also was guilt of telling some of the neighbor children if they wanted to see JESSE JAMES to go up on the front porch and look in the window of the door. Little did I know at the time that one of them would become my wife on April 23, 1949.
