Hello Glynda and also Fran, I feel that I must write something here about the picture of the four Texas Rangers that this item of interest pertaining to the GOOSE that flew low over Pueblo, CO back in June of 1948. He left his mark in the front bedroom in my sister, Jessie blond bedroom set that she had work for and paid for during her high school years. Lee Howk and dad did place a rubber pad down over the mattress before moving old Jesse (J. Frank Dalton) in from the house trailer parked in the driveway. I am sure that was one of the pictures that Lee was showing and gave to my dad along with several other pictures to help pay my mom and dad for helping to care for Old Jesse during that short stay at their home. A lady nurse by the name of Nadine was the main one to tend to Old Jesse daily needs, but she did need help to roll him over for cleaning and changing his clothes and bedding. That's when Lee and my dad would step in and help. Old Jesse with his broken hip was a handfull to move about. Mom's part was in the kitchen preparing the meals for everybody that was there which included my brother Raleigh and I as well as Old Jesse and dad and herself. Lee & Nadine and their daughter would eat & sleep in the house trailer. I think they were there only 10 days and then I believe they put Old Jesse on an airplane and went back to Oklahoma in time for a parade. Bob James. Notify Administrator about this message?
