LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF FRANK JAMES I, Frank James, of Kearney, Clay County, Missouri, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, but mindful of the uncertainties of life, do hereby make, publish, and declare the following as and for my last will and testament, hereby revoking any and all wills heretofore made by me; that is to say – (1) I direct that all my just debts, expenses of my last illness and funeral expenses, shall first be paid out of my estate by my executrix hereinafter named. (2) I give, devise, and bequeath to my only son, Robert F. James, the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) in cash. (3) I give, devise, and bequeath to my aforesaid son, Robert F. James, my solid gold watch and diamond stud. (4) In lieu of dower, I give, devise, and bequeath absolutely to my beloved wife, Anna, all the remainder and residue of property of whatsoever kind and nature, real, personal, and mixed, and wheresoever situated. (5) I hereby nominate and appoint my beloved wife, Anna James of Kearney, Clay County, Missouri, executrix, without bond, of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof, I hereunto set my hand and seal this 7th day of November1912. Signed, published, and declares as and for his last will and testament by Frank James, the above named testator, in the presence of us who, at his request and in his presence, and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses this 7th day of November 1912.
