Bob,Robert Woodson{WOOD)Hite,son of George Burns Hite and
Nancy Gardner James,was a 1st.cousin of JWJ.
Their were 6 Doolittle Raiders,present at the 66th Reunion
this past week end at Dallas Tx.,my ist cousin LT.COL.ROBERT LOWELL(BOB)Hite was present,he is not in the greatest of health.he lost his bombdaier DESHAZER,in March of this year.
LOWELL,as he is known in the family currently lives in
Nashville Tn.he was co-pilot of the 16th plane BAT OUTTA HELL to take off from the Hornet,he has always been my hero.to withstand 40 months of extreme torture and confinment.
he was named after his Dad,Robert P.Hite,and greatgrandfather Robert H.HITE.
