William James b. 1804 KY is my 4th great grandfather. His son, my 3rd great grandfather Joseph Minor James b. 1829 civil war penision paperwork, he states he is born in Shelby Co. Kentucky. In the U.S. census 1830 North of the road from Louisville to Frankfort, is William James, has one male under age of five, one male 20-30 and one female 20-30. Other names on the census are Woods, Hindale? Law, Hollaway, Aldridge. Does any one have information regarding my William James? If anyone is in Shelby Co. Kentucky can you help me in locating my William James parents.
