After reading the following...it sure does look like you WERE referring to Betty's book. Look at the topic we were supposedly discussing.

Then you say this... "It's a shame people use others work as their "sources" such as saying a GEDcom file was their source."

Well, I know I am not going to buy it. I have been sent excerpts, of which there are numerous errors. I hope people will do their own research and not duplicate these errors. It's a shame people use others work as their "sources" such as saying a GEDcom file was their source. Oddly the James-Barbee line is one of mine, and for one thing, Thomas James never married Sarah Elizabeth Mason Barbee, who btw was fifteen years older than he.
