Elijah JAMES born in TN, wed Jane Goodwin and lived in Arkansas, Lawrence COunty, Strawberry township.( Or close, by.) Their daughter, Caroline vIrginia JAMES wed Louis Robert Turner and their son, James Marion Turner wed Martha Matilda RUNYAN in Lawrence Co. Ark. These are my g g grands.
I have census showing their children and the civil war records of Elijah James and Lewis R.Turner .
Have not found the parents of ELijah JAMES in Tennessee?
If anyone has this data? I would sincerely appreciate a share or even a point to the place where the data is located? There is a JAMES in Hamilton Co.TN and the RUNYAN family is there-so is DOYLE and CAMPBELL, all related.
I do not have documents on the GOODWIN woman, Jane, who wed Elijah JAMES and am told she was from Pittsylvania, Virginia. Any help or understanding or ideas on these people would be a real blessing on my search. Thanks, Judy Grimes, California.
