Hope you are having a good weekend. Mine has been great. Thanks for replying to my post. I hope below will answer your question.

After reading your post, I went back into Betty's book and discovered that all of this was covered in the book and it shows that the minority of opposing family members who claim they never heard the story did in fact hear it long before she told it. Evidence of this is in the chapter "Family Secrets Revealed."

Also, I noticed your name, are you the same Eric James that runs Stray Leaves Web site? If so, have you included proof on how William James who you claim to be an ancestor fits into the family line? Also, but I noticed you and Betty descend from a common ancestor.
