James Rufus James was married 3 times. One wife was Nancy, one was Norah. DOn't know the other. He was enumerated in the Bib Co., GA. census in 1870, 1900, 1910, 1920. His children by Norah, who died bet. 1910 and 1920, were Matilda James, Alice James, Maybelle JAmes, Wilma James, Felton James and Rufus JAmes. I am speciffically looking for more information on Maybelle James. She married James J. Jones in Bibb Co. I believe, she may have been married to his son, James Clarence "Doc" Jones first. Doc died in 1936. James and Maybelle did not marry until after his first wife died. Cassie Mills Jones died 8 May 1930. I believe they may have married after Doc's death in 1936.
