Some of you people have heard us talk about this lady. With a sad heart I will post this... KINGSTON, Mo. - Lola Joyce Morgan, 71, Kingston, formerly of Mirabile, Mo., passed away at her home on Monday, Oct. 29, 2007. Joyce was born July 26, 1936, in Mirabile to Emerson Palmer and Opal Fern (Harlow) Otto. She had lived in Caldwell County, Mo., most of her life. She had worked for 20 years as a teacher's aide at the Hamilton, Mo., Head Start and had been well-known around the area as a psychic. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Duane and Dale; and sister, Rita Boechler. On Aug. 11, 1953, she married John Morgan in Polo, Mo. He survives of the home. Additional survivors: three children, Kathy (Scott) Burkhart, Chillicothe, Mo.; Kendall (Lisa) Morgan, Mirabile; and Mark (Willie) Morgan, Kingston; brother, Norman Von Otto, Hamilton; sisters, Janice K. Christopher, Polo; and Lana J. Ellingsworth, Overland Park, Kan.; three grandchildren, Sharra Pollard, and Azalee and Wyatt Morgan; and three great-grandchildren, Kadin, Jacob and Clayton Pollard. Funeral service: 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at the Mirabile Community Church. Interment: Mirabile Cemetery. Visitation: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.
