From what I heard from a reliable source they went into the wooden box the very night of the first dig and retrieved a bone sample which they did DNA testing on but it didn't match. They said they had permission from the judge that if the metal casket was the wrong one she would give them permission to exhume the wooden box. My husband personally heard the guys from the funeral home say that. Now, no one has said who their DNA reference source was. Is this true? Who knows??? If they had permission from the judge to exhume that wooden box, why hide it?
