Dear Carol:
I hate to accuse anyone of actually being part of a conspiracy without any proof to back it up, but apparently Mary Kate Durham was involved in this conspiracy ( that is, she was being pressured by someone ) by 1993, and probably even before that. It looks like something was going on with the W. H. Holland cemetery plot by 1993, or before. This is probably tied in somehow with the 1995 Kearney exhumation. When the idea started circulating to do DNA testing on the James family, it looks like someone became alarmed about what was buried in the Granbury Cemetery, and some sort of long-term planning was begun. The fact that W. H. Holland doesn't appear in the 1993 edition of Mary Kate Durham's Granbury Cemetery book is evidence, to me, that somebody was doing some long-range planning regarding the adjoining W. H. Holland and J. Frank Dalton Granbury Cemetery plots. It appears that somebody wanted to get rid of, or at least obscure as much as possible, the evidence that W. H. Holland was buried in the plot next to Dalton, because they had a long-range plan in the works, which found its culmination on May 30, 2000, as I have outlined in several previous posts. Some one wanted to make it appear that no one knew W. H. Holland was buried in the plot next to J. Frank Dalton.
Sincerely, and Lots of Love - -
Philip K. Kromer
