Hello Richard-- I saw your post about the lady in Godley ,and thought I would add this.. I have a letter that Howk wrote during the last days that Jesse or as some want to say J Frank Dalton.. In this letter Howk states that it is very hot in the house there in August.. He also states that old bullet wounds are opening up.. We know that the rose tatoo was to cover a bullet wound, so if it had opened up that would distort the Tatoo.. Then this is most likely the red and purplish spot that the lady from Godley, Texas saw.. BUD
