Hello Bev, I'm looking for genealogy information on the following individuals [most of which were probably loyalists during the American Revolutionary war]: Three different John Fishers, all found in colonial SC. around 1783. One John Fisher was a [Charleston] cabinet maker who went to Kingston after the war. One John Fisher was a loyalist Col. in Orangeburg's Militia, & commanded Fisher's Regiment in SC. He came to SC. in 1760, from Scotland.
The third John Fisher was ___?
I also would like genealogy information on a loyalist Robert Fisher, loyalist soldier James Brown [in Capt. Johnstone's Scots Brigade], and Katherine/Catherine Fisher/Fischer [b. abt. 1727, Schoonhoven, Zuid Holland, Netherlands]. James & Katherine were my great X7 grandparents. Their son, Robert Brown was born Nov. 8, 1759, Breda, Netherlands.
Other FTDNA surname matches with my line of Browns include: Fisher, Brashears, Jernigan, Gladstone/Gledstanes, Cauble/Coble, Anderson, Fuller, Wright, Martin, Sartor/Salter, McBride/McBryde, Ashley, Tanner,Zimmerman, Guth, McIntosh, Taylor, Wilson, Smith, Estes, McKee, Combs/Combes/McCombes, Ellis, ect., ect...
Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Marshall
