I am trying to trace my maternal great grandparents. My grandfather was Joseph Nathaniel Taylor, born in the Bahamas, Matthew Town, inagua. In 1894 or thereabouts. His father was Nathaniel Taylor,a farmer and his Mother was a Julia Monroe. I know of 4 other siblings born to them, 3 male, 1 female. I believe they may have moved to Jamaica at some point. My grandfather Jos.Nat. Taylor was killed in action in WW1. He fought for England and was killed in action. He is buried in Belgium. He was in the First Battallion North Staffords. I dont know when he came to England, if the whole family came or part of the family or if he came alone. I know he was living in Manchester, England in 1906 and married my grandmother in 1907. I hope someone can help.
