Hello! My name is Eric Volante and my ancestors are also Jean (Gerbert) Jalbert and Mathurin Jalbert also! So you and I are related in that category! I have alot of Jalbert genealogy about them and others that you and I can possibly exchange copies of it with each other if you are interested! I am 44, divorced with 2 daughters 18 and 15 and a granddaughter that was born just this past June 16th. My grandmother-(my father's mother,) was Marie A. Volante and she was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, and died in Virginia-(1897-1977) and I lived in Virginia all my life originally near Washington DC where I worked for the federal government for many years at a military base neay DC, and back in 2003 I was forced to leave and go on social security disability due to many health problems and some permant injuries involved in a not-at-fault accident-(I moved to Virginia Beach for 2 years-(3 years ago and on up until a year ago when I moved to Florida to get away from winter,) and so it's been a year now, that I have been living in Florida.
