I'm not sure if we have been in contact or not, but I want to let you know that I have Jalbert family originally from Lowell, Mass.-Joseph Jalbert, and Worcester, Mass.-my grandmother-Marie A. Jalbert. I have a lot of Jalbert genealogy if you would like to E-mail me your home mailing address so that I can send it to you. My E-mail address is: EVolante33@aol.com I have ancestors such as Jean and Mathurin Jalbert-back then the spelling was Gerbert, but I have heard it to be spelled as Gerbet and Gelbar, and the American version, I think, is Gilbert.
