My grandfather, Vaclav Jakoubek, was born in 1885 in Vranric, CZ. He was one of many children of Cench(sp?) Jakoubek and Frances Vomack. Vaclav immigrated to the US around 1900 and settled in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Know he had a brother John, also in Cedar Rapids. Have postcards and letters from his family - all in Czech. They may be helpful if I can get them translated. Don't know if there is a connection to your grandmother.
