My grandfather, Johann Jahns, was born Feb 19, 1957, in Posen,Germany (Poland) and in 1876 received his Master's certificate as a stonemason in the province of Posen.He moved to Chicago in ? and married in Chicago Oct 29, 1883. His father was Johann also, and his mother Kathryn Zarzycka. Does anyone have any information on these individuals?
